Understanding and supporting the creative health sector in Tendring

This new report from Creative Lives seeks to highlight examples of good practice in creative health in Tendring, Essex.

Creative Lives' research in Tendring aimed to:

  • Foster a better understanding of the role of creativity and volunteering in reducing loneliness and isolation
  • Engage with local stakeholders to understand the strengths, needs and challenges of the Tendring creative ecology
  • Showcase successful case studies where creativity has contributed to social well-being
  • Map creative groups and activities to improve visibility and access
  • Encourage the formation of a local creative network to foster collaboration and peer support

The report concludes with a series of recommendations to help the creative health sector to flourish in Tendring.
