Opportunities Funding Parkinson's UK - physical activity grants Being active can have a significant impact on living well with Parkinson’s, regardless of symptoms or time since diagnosis. The Parkinson’s UK Physical Activity Grants Programme supports activity providers, communities, networks, organisations and others to develop opportunities for people with Parkinson’s to become and stay active. Find out about the two grant programmes below, and sign up for the 'meet the funder' webinar on Wednesday 9 July here. Grants for physical activity providers Deadline: this is a rolling programme and applications will be accepted until all funds have been allocated. Applications can be made by any local community groups and clubs, exercise coaches, activity providers and physios who have a connection to the Parkinson’s community. Classes and activities can range from walking football and dance to table tennis and seated yoga, among many others.
