Sew Mindful Crafts CIC is a warm, welcoming community group based in Edlington, Doncaster, offering creative, inclusive sewing and craft workshops for all ages and abilities.

Whether you’re a complete beginner or an experienced maker, our sessions are designed to be friendly, supportive, and fun.

We use crafts like sewing, embroidery, crochet, jewellery-making, and mindful art to support mental wellbeing, build confidence, and reduce isolation.

Our space is fully equipped, wheelchair accessible, and designed to make everyone feel comfortable and valued. Workshops are led by passionate, skilled tutors who provide step-by-step guidance, and we supply all tools and materials needed.

We also offer a sensory room, refreshments, and support for those with additional needs. Many of our activities are free or lowcost, thanks to local funding, and we regularly run special projects for children, young people, and adults facing challenges such as mental health issues, low income, or social isolation.

At Sew Mindful Crafts, it’s not just about learning new skills—it’s about connecting with others, finding joy in creativity, and becoming part of a supportive community.

We're based at 5 York Buildings, Edlington Lane, Doncaster DN12 1BU and are open daily from 9am-7.30pm (except Wednesdays and Sundays).
